There comes a point in life when you can look around and realize that things have changed.
The children have grown. Your career may look different. Relationships may have changed. You’ve experienced losses. You’ve spent years taking care of other people and doing what needed to be done.
And then one day you find yourself asking:
“What do I want now?”
It can be a surprisingly difficult question.
Not because there’s something wrong with you. And not because you need to reinvent yourself.
Sometimes, you’ve simply lost touch with the woman underneath all the roles, responsibilities and expectations.
This stage of life can be an opportunity to stop for a moment and listen to yourself again.
What matters to you now?
What have you put aside?
What are you curious about?
What would you like more of in your life?
You don’t have to have all the answers. You don’t even have to know exactly where you’re going.
Sometimes the first step is simply giving yourself permission to ask the question.
What do I want now?
Your story isn’t finished.
You still get to have a say in what comes next.
